Welcome, Executive Chef Scot!
Food for Thought has just hired executive chef, Scot Cunningham! With over 41 years of experience, Scot recently opened the Tavern at the Gallery, in the courtyard of the National Gallery of Canada. Chef Scot is also a part-time culinary professor at Algonquin College's School of Hospitality & Tourism.
When asked about his interest in Food For Thought, Chef Scot tells us "I have seen first-hand the severity of food insecurity in Ottawa. One day, my son came home hungry. When I learned it was because he shared his lunch with a fellow student that didn't have one, I wanted to be part of the solution".
We look forward to Chef Scot bringing his passion for cooking, and people, daily to the Food for Thought kitchen.
